how it works
Dehydration and dryness of the skin can be due to many causes: aging, the cold, travel, hormonal changes, air conditioning, central heating... and the list is endless. These changes can cause an increase in TEWL (transepidermal water loss), a process in which water rises to the surface of the skin and escapes, giving rise to low levels of hydration in the skin. HEO Mask is designed to combat the visible signs of dryness and dehydration, while reinforcing the skin's natural barrier to improve long-term hydration.
1 – Moisturizers act as moisture magnets, attracting water to rehydrate, soften and replenish the skin. The HEO Mask mask contains moisturizing heroes such as multi-weight hyaluronic acid, glycerin and Natural Hydration Factors (NMF), which return lost water to the skin by creating a hydration deposit in the upper layers of the skin.
2 – Glyceryl glucoside helps to stimulate the hydration channels to increase the flow of water through the layers of the skin, while the blue sea kale favors the natural production of hyaluronic acid in the skin, to help recharge the hydration levels of the skin in the long term.
3 - The emollients squalane, ceramides and linoleic acid (vitamin F) use their properties identical to those of the skin, fat-loving, to slide effortlessly through the natural barrier of the skin and replenish the efforts made by the natural barrier of the skin and fill the holes for moisture to escape, while nourishing the skin in depth.
4 – The occlusive dimethicone is made up of larger molecules than the other key ingredients, which means it works to form a breathable barrier on the surface of the skin to block the benefits of moisturizers and emollients, while physically preventing TEWL.
