The result of 8 years of work, the revolutionary retinyl retinoate molecule is a hybrid of traditional retinol and clinical grade retinoic acid. Its encapsulated form is exclusive to Medik8 formulations. Able to act directly on the skin without breaking into parts, the molecule acts directly on the skin cells to stimulate cell regeneration and improve collagen synthesis. 8 times more potent than retinol, retinyl retinoate visibly reduces fine lines and wrinkles, evenens skin tone and softens rough skin for a younger looking complexion. Incredibly, retinyl retinoate has been shown to be photostable, meaning it does not decompose in sunlight like traditional forms of vitamin A. It can be used both day and night and is quite gentle even for to the most sensitive skin. Retinyl retinoate is combined with collagen enhancer, vitamin C, skin-calming vitamin E and hyaluronic acid moisturizer in a next-generation anti-aging formulation to revitalize the skin.<\/p>\n
